Chio Kancib is originally from San Luis Potosí, Mexico. He studied Industrial Design at the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí and she has experience in body, canvas and mural painting. Her creative development began at an early age and was self-taught. Attracted by pre-Hispanic culture and influenced by psychedelia and her residence in India, her personal projects highlight her fascination with the theme of death, the use of mandalas and bright colors. Along with her personal work, her work as a teacher has also linked her to painting aimed at children.
